Disputes Resolved

Disputes Resolved was founded in 1993 by James Franks and John Mulcare to assist disputants (the parties) to resolve their disputes as quickly as possible, at the least  cost and with minimum stress and inconvenience for all concerned. Both partners were accredited as mediators by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), having commenced their training in 1991. Disputes Resolved has expanded rapidly since its inception and has a network of over 150 accredited mediators, through which it operates country-wide. CEDR invited Disputes Resolved to act as ambassadors for them. However, mediators with other recognised training and pupilage are accepted on the panel. The experience of mediators drawn from various disciplines is wide-ranging and enables a comprehensive mediation service to be offered.

In January 2010 Ivan Over was made Director of Disputes Resolved, whilst James Franks stepped down and continues as a Consultant.

Disputes Resolved perceives a dramatic increase in mediations in the future and has put in place quality management systems to ensure that the high standard of personal service which has been provided for clients in the past will continue in the future.  Our network of mediators is country-wide and enables us to offer services in England, Scotland and Wales. Contact us to receive our brochure. We would be pleased to send any further information about Disputed Resolved upon request.

It is our aim to build on the foundations that James Franks created and to develop Disputes Resolved by doing the following:

Promoting awareness and understanding of Mediation and how it could help potential clients.

Expanding Disputes Resolved by not only providing new services but also expanding into other parts of the U.K. with the aim of one day making it available to all with a nationwide service.

Forming partnerships with new and existing clients and providing them with a first class service.
